It has been a busy year at Caddie Computer Aided Design, with Caddie Version 9.0 shipped to the maintained user-base. The Caddie Version 9.1 interim update will boast a viewer that enables the user to view and print Caddie drawing by layers, patterns and/or entities and Caddie's own dialogue creator for the easy customisation of buttons and creation of third-party applications.

Caddie was also well received at the Computer Faire in Sandton in May; and the Beqsa show in Cape Town in June. According to the company, success at these trade shows has proved that quality product, support, development and value-for-money go hand-in-hand to give clients maximum benefit.

Furthermore, Caddie has successfully held user group seminars in Gauteng and Cape Town earlier this year and is visiting the main centres throughout the country. This is a commitment to the user base and gives existing and prospective clients the opportunity to have hands-on experience with the product. The company is also looking forward to Caddie Version 10 that aims to put the Caddie user at the forefront of technology and productivity, thereby setting new standards and trends in CAD.
