Algor has released V14, another of its FEA software that features new flexible licence management, enhanced midplane meshing, thermal contact support, a new spring element and over 45 additional changes based on customer feedback.
V14 includes a large number of new, customer-requested features and delivers significant enhancements across our wide range of design and analysis capabilities," said product manager Bob Williams. "These capabilities enable engineers to take full advantage of cost-effective, multi-user or enterprise-wide licensing options, quickly create FEA models of thin CAD parts and assemblies, simulate a wide range of contact scenarios and evaluate additional result types."
When questioned about the release, some of the company's customers had the following to say:
"Algor's product development team has been aggressive in bringing new capabilities to their product line," said Terry Bender of Applied Concepts. "This customer-driven product development strategy makes their software a great investment because I am confident that I have the latest in simulation technology."
"The enhanced midplane meshing will help me to work seamlessly with the Autodesk Inventor assemblies I design," said Suneet Talwar of SDP Engineering. "The capability to create midplane meshes of multiple-part assemblies will enable me to quickly generate FEA models of thin CAD models."
