Autodesk certifies Algor's Incad products for Autodesk Inventor 9

1 October 2004

Algor, a provider of design, analysis and simulation software, announced that its InCAD products have been named as Autodesk Inventor 9 Certified Applications. The designation, which is granted by Autodesk, identifies high-quality, robust products that provide the highest level of interoperability with Autodesk Inventor software, the cornerstone of the Autodesk Inventor Series 3D mechanical design package.
"Algor's continued participation in the Autodesk Inventor Certified Application program enables us to offer a complete CAD/CAE solution to our customers," says Richard Runnells, senior manager, Partner Programs for Autodesk's Manufacturing Solutions Division. "Once again, Algor analysis and simulation solutions have proven their high level of interoperability with Autodesk Inventor."
"Our continued certification, now for Autodesk Inventor 9, clearly demonstrates the joint dedication of our two companies to providing effective and up-to-date design and analysis solutions," says Algor product manager Bob Williams. "We will continue to provide Autodesk Inventor users with easy-to-use and accurate analysis and simulation tools so they can speed up time to market and make better, safer products at a lower cost."
Algor's InCAD Designer/Autodesk Inventor and the InCAD/Autodesk Inventor Extender provide full associativity with each design change within Autodesk Inventor 9. These products can be extended to include Algor's wide range of simulation capabilities including static stress and mechanical event simulation with linear and nonlinear material models, linear dynamics, steady-state and transient heat transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow, electrostatics and full multiphysics.
