10 000 inventor licences to be implemented by single user

Autodesk has announced the purchase of 10 000 licences of the Autodesk Inventor Series over the next three years by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), one of China's top 100 enterprises.
The Autodesk Inventor Series is a collection of 2D and 3D design applications that includes Autodesk Inventor 3D design software and Autodesk Mechanical Desktop, in one package. CSSC has purchased the Autodesk Inventor Series primarily for the use of Autodesk Inventor 3D mechanical design software.
China is the third-largest shipbuilding nation in the world, and entry into the World Trade Organisation has created an urgent need to upgrade its shipping industry's technology infrastructure. The collaborative capabilities of Autodesk's software will help CSSC promote digital information exchange among ship design enterprises and ship owners. CSSC also anticipates that improved collaboration will increase competitiveness throughout its shipbuilding supply chain, improving quality and enhancing results.
