Encad, a Kodak company, recently announced its new CADJET T-200 wide-format CAD printer that features easy-to-use, snap-on ink caddy technology and high print speed.
The 36-inch T-200 model offers CAD, CAM, CAE, A/E/C, GIS Mapping and AutoCAD industry users the ability to easily produce spectacular line drawings and colour proofing for all of their projects.
The new CADJET T-200 is available in South Africa from First Graphics and Protea Graphics. Eric Morgan, First Graphics' National Sales Manager: Digital Imaging Division, comments: "The T-200 printer incorporates Encad's most innovative technologies. It combines operational simplicity with Encad's exclusive 4-black cartridge speed. Overall, it is a case of less fuss, increased productivity and reduced operating costs."
The T-200 also boasts a compact design and a corporate-friendly ink system. Pre-filled cartridges snap on and off easily for quick, clean installation. The ink caddies are made of clear plastic, keeping ink levels always visible, and attach directly to the T-200's ink cartridges. The T-200 switches easily from four colour to four black cartridges, while MicroBurst technology provides the fast ink speeds in four colour or best mode, using Encad's CIS2 (CAD Imaging Supplies 2) ink system.
The T-200's full suite of industry standard CAD drives support the latest software programs including EPS, PDF, TIFF file. AutoCAD drivers support both HDI (Heidi Device Interface) and ADI (AutoCAD Device Interface) options and provide interfaces for AutoCAD 2000, 200I, 2002 HDI, AutoCAD LT 2000, 2000I, 2002 HDI, and AutoCAD ADI for Rel. 13 and 14.
