Mitech installs new CAD/CAM system

In its quest to maintain product quality in an increasingly demanding market environment, Mitech decided on the implementation of a CAD/CAM system. The company expected the system to make a major contribution to the profitability of the production process by minimising production variables.

After the evaluation of a number of the many systems available in the market, Mitech decided to install an Autodesk Inventor as their CAD system. Mitech's overall objectives were to ensure consistency in, and to maintain control of, the design and production processes and to improve overall efficiency.
Mitech finds Inventor's ability to simulate motions, establish interferences and perform collision detection valuable, and its adaptive technology is also making a considerable contribution towards reducing both design time and error.
