TTI to add CATIA V5 to its interoperability solutions

1 December 2002

Translation Technologies (TTI), a provider of fully modifiable data exchange between computer-aided design (CAD) systems, recently announced an agreement with Spatial Corp, a provider of 3D development technologies, granting TTI a license to develop software utilising Spatial's CAA V5 (component application architecture).
The result of the agreement will be the addition of CATIA V5 to TTI's Acc-u-Trans Interoperability software. This will give CATIA V5 users a solution for full interoperability between various CAD systems. TTI's patent pending software currently allows companies to effectively communicate complex, highly precise CAD models between CATIA V4, Pro/Engineer, Unigraphics, and I-DEAS.
"Spatial is committed to working with independent software suppliers that build support for Dassault Systemes' 3D PLM strategy," said Mike Payne, Spatial CEO. "We are very much in favour of companies such as TTI that utilise the CAA V5 Adopter program to develop innovative applications that CATIA V5 users can benefit from."
