The PostNet adds colour with Océ

1 June 2003

The PostNet, at Town Square, Constantia, on the West Rand, is at the forefront of modern technology and is able to offer its customers the latest in printing technology, courtesy of Océ.
The PostNet is owned by husband and wife team, Bokkie and Madelief Wilcocks, both of whom are involved in the daily running of the business. Bokkie says, "We make every effort to grow with our customers. In fact, we try to anticipate their needs ahead of time and pride ourselves on being future-thinking. Our partnership with Océ allows us to remain one step ahead of customers' requirements by ensuring that we have access to the latest technology on the market."
Bokkie is constantly re-evaluating his business' offering to its customers and believes that his success can be attributed to the fact that he stays in constant communication with his customers. "Océ plays a vital role in meeting my customers' requirements. I have a policy of never saying 'no' to a customer, and Océ has come up with some innovative software solutions to what appeared to be insurmountable problems."
The PostNet has been in operation for nine-and-a-half years and this year celebrated its ninth year of doing business with Océ by taking delivery of a revolutionary CPS700 machine. Bokkie says, "It is well known that adding colour to documents and presentations dramatically increases their impact. For instance, statements printed in colour have a 60% better chance of being paid ahead of black and white ones."
The Océ CPS700 (colour production system) incorporates innovative technology to offer reliability, ease of use and stability. In addition, colour quality is consistent throughout the entire run, across all media.
The Océ CPS700 runs at a constant 25, A4 impressions per minute, no matter what is being printed whether it is double-sided, A3 or stapled documents. Duplexing with heavy paper is not a problem either. The short paper path means virtually no paper jams to hold up production. Bokkie concludes: "My customers are happy in the knowledge that the Océ equipment can offer the quality and throughput that is essential to the success of their business."
