Both machines offer high durability (estimated 3-million page scanning capacity); reliable paper handling across a broad spectrum of paper stocks (50 to 127 gsm); and high-speed scanning (25 and 45 pages per minute respectively).

Both scanners also offer automatic cropping, which eliminates the need to pre-set individual paper-size settings and allows batch scanning of different-sized documents; automatic de-skewing; and Panasonic's dynamic threshold technology, which detects the density of the various backgrounds and automatically adjusts the scan settings.
