Label manufacturer relies on Epson quality

1 August 2003

Earlier this year, Roll On Labels acquired an Epson Stylus Pro 5000 colour proofer from imaging solutions provider First Graphics.
Director, Chris Jeffery, says, "We recently bought the Epson from First Graphics and have had it in service for about two months. It helps us to give our clients great quality proofs before going to press and reduces unnecessary press time on colour corrections." The Epson Stylus Pro 5000 combines high-quality images with high-resolution printing at 1440 dpi, while an oversized A3+ print area allows for two-up A4 with bleeds and crops.
Jeffery adds, "Once our staff had been trained on the Epson they found it fairly easy to use. We have other smaller Epson models in use that have proven very reliable."
Roll On Labels is a manufacturer of self-adhesive labels for several markets, including the dairy, food and beverage and farming industries. The company has the capacity to print up to six colours on various substrates with a selection of finishes, including UV varnishing and overlaminating.
