Multifunction wide-format printer

1 August 2003

The TDS600 wide-format printer - available locally from Océ SA - effectively handles technical-document printing, copying, scan-to-file and finishing in workgroup or central environments, including submitting print jobs and scanning to any location, using the Internet.
The TDS600 promotes user satisfaction. There is less frustration, since the system's productivity reduces users' waiting time, allowing them to get on with other core tasks. For example, users can easily send print jobs to the Océ TDS600 through Océ's web-based print submission application. The sophisticated feedback system gives them information about media, queues and system availability. One-touch operability, large buttons and clear instructions make the Océ TDS600 easy to use, further reducing aggravation and mistakes, and maximising productivity.
The system has advanced spooling and queue management plus sophisticated set-processing, to handle complex jobs; real concurrency, so printing, copying and scan-to-file can be performed simultaneously; and a powerful controller that productively manages all operations. Océ Scan Logic simplifies scan-to-file, by uniquely facilitating direct one-step scanning to any location using the Internet.
The TDS600 is designed to fit into the way the user works. Integrated printer drivers for AutoCAD, Windows, and Adobe PostScript 3TM/PDF ensures that one can print from familiar applications, and increasingly important direct PDF printing and scanning. Thoughtful design features, like reduced noise, heat and ozone emissions, mean the system can be placed close to users. In addition, the TDS600 is modular, so one need only purchase the components that are required.
Upgrades are done by simply adding component modules, which makes for a safe investment.
