A digital copier that can print

1 April 2004

Océ South Africa has introduced an economical, wide-format, copy and print system that delivers high quality prints, quickly. Choosing a printing system for a small technical enterprise or a workgroup in a larger organisation can be tricky. Inkjets are slow and expensive to run, and if the user needs copies as well, it normally means also buying an analog copier. The Océ TDS300, available in printer or copier-printer versions, produces high quality documents fast, making it ideal for smaller workloads.
The TDS300 features unique technology developed by Océ, including Océ Image Logic and Electro-photography with Océ Radiant Fusing.
Océ Image Logic was developed and patented by Océ with the objective that 99% of all originals should be copied and scanned with the right quality the first time without any operator intervention. In the electro-photographic process, Océ Radiant Fusing is used to fix the toner to the paper. This technology is widely used in decentralised workgroups because of its high image quality together with low heat and noise emissions.
The Océ TDS300 features a print speed of 3 m or 1,8 A0 per minute and a print resolution of 600 dpi. It can be equipped with one or two rolls of media and can handle a wide range of media both on rolls and as sheets. As well as plain paper, other media like bond, vellum, recycled paper, translucent, transparent papers and polyester films can be used.
Particularly suited to applications in the architecture, engineering and construction fields, the Océ TDS300 offers the highest reliability and minimal downtime.
