Océ introduces economical TDS300 printer

1 October 2004

Small technical companies or workgroups within larger organisations can find it tricky to choose a wide-format printing system. Inkjet printers are slow and expensive to run and if copies are also required, it means buying an analog copier. The answer is the TDS300 from Océ South Africa, available in printer or copier-printer versions to produce high quality documents fast.
The printer version of the Océ TDS300 offers 600 dpi print quality, resulting in check plots and drawings that look every bit as good as those produced on more advanced systems. At 1.8 A0 impressions a minute, the Océ TDS300 is twice as fast as the best inkjet printers.
The TDS300 supports a wide range of print drivers making job submission fast and simple. The Océ Power Logic controller offers concurrent processing so it can manage several print jobs at once. Two rolls online enable it to handle every wide format size.
In the copier version of the Océ TDS300, the Océ Green Button approach makes it easy to produce perfect copies. Even with the most difficult originals, Océ Image Logic automatically enhances image quality. The system also zooms from 25% to 400% so large prints can be reduced to a handy size for use on a building site or another external location.
This year, the Océ TDS300 was recognised by the BERTL's Best Award for Best Wide Format Printer Range, an award that is bestowed on the product line that delivers the most extensive functionality, versatility and performance across a wide range of job types. BERTL awarded the 2004 BERTL's Best Award to Océ for its diverse and highly functional line of wide format print devices, which includes the TDS300.
