GTCO CalComp has announced the release of the new Super L IV line of large-format digitisers featuring plug-and-play USB support for simplified connectivity. Available now, the Super L IV is designed to allow more versatility than ever before for users in a variety of markets that need to take information from a paper original and convert it into digital form for manipulation.
The Super L IV is next in the family of high quality digitisers that set the standard in large-format digitising. Super L IV digitisers are best suited for professionals in construction estimating, textiles, CAD and facilities management applications.
New features of the Super L IV include:
* USB and Serial ports that utilise standard interface cables.
* USB powered when connected via USB (Serial requires a power supply).
* QuikRuler III port for simplified connectivity to the GTCO CalComp QuikRuler III module.
* Removable electronic controller.
The QuikRuler LCD screen is a new additional attachment available with this new Super L IV.
"Our customers have relied on the quality, durability, and performance of the Super L line to meet a broad range of digitising needs, commented Dave Neill, product support manager of Imaging Innovations - the sole authorised distributor of the GTCO CalComp range of digitisers for southern Africa. "The simplified connectivity provided by the plug-and-play USB support in the Super L IV and QuikRuler Module Plug-in demonstrates GTCO CalComp's commitment to continue to enhance the product line and to provide our customers with the resolution, durability, and quality they require."
Available in five sizes ranging from 20" x 24" to 44" x 60", the Super L III provides a resolution of up to 2540 lines per inch and accuracy of 0,10". In addition, the Super L IV gives users the choice of using corded or cordless pointing devices, like slim-styled pens and multibuttoned cursors, to easily get information into a digital format, whether it is a set of blueprints, maps or textile patterns.
