The first Océ CS6060 solvent inkjet printer arrived on South African shores in December 2004 and several of these high-performance inkjet systems have already been placed at some of South Africa's biggest names in outdoor printing.

The Océ CS6060 is a 1,6 m wide, high performance inkjet system for professional display graphics applications. This high speed, high resolution printing system delivers high quality 720 dpi graphics with outdoor durability up to three years, at production printing speeds up to an outstanding 30 square metres per hour. Developed and designed for the production of outdoor signs, banners and graphics, the Océ CS6060 is two to five times faster than other printers in its class.

This six-colour printer is ideal for short-run print jobs and is designed for moderate production environments where high quality output and outdoor durability are required.

Exciting new ink technology offers an expanded colour gamut with outdoor durability. The new ink set breaks through the old barriers of colour and outdoor durability by producing deep shiny blacks and vibrant 'fire-engine' red colours while still delivering outstanding outdoor durability. The expanded gamut outdoor ink set includes six pigmented ink colours: cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan and light magenta. Each ink is developed to jet reliably through the new industrial type wide piezo inkjet heads of the Océ CS6060 printer, and to provide industry-leading performance on a wide range of uncoated media, including adhesive vinyl, PVC banners, backlit films, fabric and paper.
