ColorPainter 64S

1 June 2005

The 64" wide ColorPainter 64S employs six new industrial piezo inkjet heads featuring 512 nozzles per colour for a total of 3072 nozzles. Optimised for true 720 dpi printing with 14 picolitre drop sizes, the new ColorPainter 64S achieves a class-fastest printing speed of 16 smph at true 720 dpi (with four passes). SIIT offers professional, high-performance printing systems for professional sign and graphic producers around the world.
The ColorPainter 64S uses solvent pigmented ink (EG outdoor ink) which offers a super wide colour gamut - including deep rich blacks and vivid bright reds impossible with other solvent ink sets. The six ink colours (cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan and light magenta) offer outstanding water, scratch, cleaning fluid, cracking and UV resistance - for outdoor applications up to three years.
Seiko I Infotech's revolutionary solvent inkset offers six amazingly bright, rich colours so signs and banners stand out. EG stands for expanded gamut as these inks provide a larger colour gamut than other solvent inks. Inks are provided in large one-litre cartridges so you do not have to worry about running out of ink during long jobs or overnight printing. Each one-litre ink cartridge/reservoir provides complete digital monitoring of ink levels and can be replaced while the printer is operating.
Seiko I Infotech has specifically designed the ColorPainter 64S to print fast at high resolution. 720 dpi is the perfect balance between image quality and speed.
EG-Outdoor inks adhere to more uncoated materials than competitive solvent inks for choice of sign and banner materials, which lowers production costs.
The inks provide up to three years of outdoor fade and weather resistance without lamination*. They are also resistant to standard cleaning solutions so graphics can be used in all types of applications.
* In test results under certain conditions.
