Extra-wide format photo-quality PostScript printer

The HP DesignJet 3500 CP PostScript colour printer from Graficomp produces photo-quality images at extra-wide (1,37 m) capacity. Accurate colours and the ability to reproduce smooth, subtle tones in true 600 dpi black and colour make this printer a good choice for graphics professionals.
Print speed is 8,6 m2/h (Economy Mode), 4,3 m2/h (Productivity Mode), 1,7 m2/h (Photo Mode). The printer is delivered with 36 MB RAM and 4,3 GB hard drive as standard. RAM may be upgraded to a maximum of 68 MB. Input standards supported include Adobe PostScript 3, HP-GL/2 and HP RTL. The interface is an HP JetDirect internal network interface (Ethernet/Localtalk, 10BT, 10B2) - IEEE-1284 compatible.
Product highlights
Able to perform external RIP, a take up reel is provided as standard and the large-capacity ink system can print approximately 186 m2 between ink system changes. Two ink sets are available: one for photo quality printing; the other, a UV option, is formulated for enhanced lightfast properties. Print quality warranty (with the 3M matched component system, and the HP DesignJet Ink System UV) is 24 months outdoors and five years indoors. Ink systems can be changed in less than 10 minutes. Colour calibration is automatic, able to perform to PANTONE, SWOP, Eurostandard and TOYO colour emulation standards on a selection of HP and 3M papers and clear media - this printer is a high quality product.
