Graficomp has expanded to include two new divisions: Graficomp Technical and Graficomp Consumables. Graficomp Consumables' division offers all types of media, from ink systems to a large variety of papers and materials.

Graficomp Technical is the only Hewlett-Packard reseller that is certified to perform HP DesignJet repairs. The company has three HP certified engineers that perform the repairs. Being a certified HP repair centre, Graficomp Technical is able to perform both in and out-of-warranty repair work. The company carries in excess of R200 000 worth of DesignJet spares, thus helping to reduce the standard two to three week lead time normally associated with parts that are imported.

Graficomp Technical has also introduced a unique after-warranty service contract whereby the customer pays on a monthly basis. The warranty includes full on-site maintenance with a guaranteed response time of less than 24 h. If the service team is not able to carry out the repair due to unavailability of parts, Graficomp will supply the customer with a loan unit until the repair is completed.
