Due to the expansion of its business The Poster Works in Randburg, producer of a wide variety of graphic products, purchased a third Encad wide format printer. The NovaJet 700 42" was installed by First Graphics, sole local distributor of Encad products.

Managing Director Mark Kilbourn says The Poster Works rapid expansion can be contributed to the company's vision to offer clients the best service available. "We have seen the demand for quality and speed of inkjet grow in our five years of business. When our clients told us they want reliability, performance, flexibility and more complete solutions we bought the NovaJet 700. It is the only wide format printer that provides consistent and reliability quality. This reliability means that we can run it unattended and overnight, enabling us to do high volumes of printing. We are seeing major improvements in speed with great image quality."

The NovaJet 700 is designed for applications such as photo reproductions and exhibit graphics. "Thanks to the printer's 600 dpi resolution with a very fast photo mode throughput speed of 5,2 square metre per hour is achieved. The final product is of the highest quality," continues Kilbourne.

The Poster Works offers a complete service to customers with the Encad printers. Kilbourne explains: "We produce a large variety of graphic products, including backlit displays, posters, exhibition graphics, signs and PVC banners. The Encad PRO 50 and Poster Graphics 5400 are used for producing outdoor banners and the PRO 600e, installed last year, is used to feed posters through to the finishing department where they are mounted, laminated or encapsulated.

"Since we started using the NovaJet 700 last month it has been adding value to our service. It is definitely the best printer in its class and will add to our stable of printers, improving quality and turn-around."
