Minolco clinches Océ's Black Tulip Award

Minolco, the South African importer and distributor of Océ high volume printing and copying systems and wide format engineering systems, has again clinched the Océ Direct Export Black Tulip Award for the top Océ distributor in the world. The latest award marks the sixth occasion in the last seven years that South Africa has topped the more than 53 distributors around the globe.
Dutch-based Océ, with revenues topping $3,5 billion, enjoys a 65% market share for its products in South Africa. Central to the company's business approach is occupying a leading position in its worldwide markets by offering advanced products and services, characterised by their high quality, reliability, productivity, durability, user-friendliness and environmental friendliness.
"The fact that we have won the award every year since 1994, except for one year, is testimony to the commitment of all our staff, from sales to technical support. It is indicative of an unswerving dedication to not only achieving targets but to living the philosophy of offering a total solution to the customer," says Luis Roldan, Business Unit Manager, Océ.
The company invests around 7% of its turnover in research and development each year. In addition, Océ provides systems software support for integrated solutions for all relevant working environments, from workgroups, midrange and production printing, to printing on demand, CAD, EDMS and display graphics.
"With the move to digital equipment and systems, Océ has deliberately entered a complex and dynamic playing field. In this field Océ can translate its ample experience of the management of document flows into total solutions for customer needs and ensure that its activities bring maximum value," adds Roldan.
