Rosewill invests in third Encad printer

1 November 2001

Florida-based Rosewill Studio was very keen to buy an Encad NovaJet 700 60" printer but decided to wait for a big printing order to justify the investment. Just such an opportunity arose when an international cosmetic company requested 3000 backlit prints at the beginning of the year, the company knew it was time to install the Encad 700 wide-format printer in its digital printing division.
The Encad 700 is Rosewill Studios' third Encad printer. Owner Johan Sanders, who worked in the printing business for many years before starting his own company, explains: "I worked with various printers and every time Encad's machines came up trumps. When Rosewill decided to expand its services three years ago to accommodate clients who required large format prints the natural choice was an Encad NovaJet PROe 60" printer. Since then our business has grown so rapidly that another wide format printer became a necessity. The demand for the NovaJet PROe 60" was being met and we settled for the NovaJet PROe 42".
However, it soon became clear that Rosewill needed to invest in yet another printer. "This time it had to be a 600 dpi printer due to the demand for A1- and smaller size prints and we settled for the Encad 700 60"," comments Sanders.
Sanders says that the three Encad printers are everything they claim to be, mentioning specific reasons for his preference. "The main reason is their stability. When a poster of four metres has to be printed in one-metre panels, there is no doubt that the colour and quality of all the panels will be exactly the same. Other outstanding features are their speed and reliability - we have not switched-off any of these machines since their installation. Furthermore, they are user-friendly, require low maintenance and are compatible with different media."
"To be the best you have to invest in the best machinery," concludes a thoroughly satisfied Sanders.
