Repro house, Reliable Repro bought Encad's top of the range NovaJet 850 60" printer from First Graphics in mid-August last year, and, says Administration Manager, Michelle Roulstone,they are delighted with the machine - their first Encad - to date.

"First Graphics invited us to a demonstration at the Balalaika Hotel in March/April last year. We were very impressed both with the machine and the demonstration itself. We really liked the machine but as we only run on a staff complement of eight people, we had to think about it for a while - we obviously needed to be sure we could recoup our investment and then make a profit on top."

Roulstone reports that having the Encad will now give Reliable Repro the opportunity of offering their clients another service in the form of banners. "We recently produced all of the outdoor banners for Compu-Kart - one of South Africa's only two indoor go-karting venues - when they had a golf day and were revamping their image. First of all we helped them with their corporate identity, stationery and posters, and then, because we now have the Encad 850, we were able to give them indoor and outdoor banners as well, as an extra service. We did the banners using the 'Go' inks, which are water resistant as well as adhesive to vinyl."

First Graphics, a supplier of equipment, technology, and consumables to the printing industry, is the sole local distributor of Encad's product range.
