Epson recently announced the release of two new dot matrix printers - the narrow carriage FX-880+ and wide carriage FX-1180+. According to the company, both printers have been developed to offer increased durability, high-speed printing and versatile paper handling.
The narrow carriage FX-880+
Both new models now produce a total print volume of up to 26 million lines compared to 6,5 million for previous models, and are a suitable solution within warehousing, distribution, retail, finance, accounting departments and hotels. Both models offer compatibility with USB and parallel interfaces as standard plus optional network, twinax, coax and serial connectivity.
Paper-feeding features include single sheet feeding, continuous push-feeding from the front or rear, and pull-feeding from the front, bottom or rear. Additional options ensure two types of tractor paper and up to two types of single sheet paper can be parked and ready for use.
