Compusign comes out ahead with Encad

1 February 2003

It seems as though one can hardly open a newspaper these days without reading some dire tale of Zimbabwe's woes. However, not all news is bad news and Harare-based printing bureau Compusign & Graphics is pleased to be able to share some good news.
The company has recently acquired an Encad NovaJet 736 printer to meet increasing demand for large format printing. This brings to four the number of printers running at Compusign & Graphics.
A couple of years ago, Compusign & Graphics acquired its first wide-format printer from First Graphics, an Encad NovaJet 700.
As customer demand for wide format printing grew, Compusign & Graphics needed to purchase another printer to supplement the Encad 700. The company specialises in large format digital prints, point-of-sale displays and illuminated signage, with advertising agencies and fast food outlets as its main customers.
The Encad NovaJet 736 was an affordable, wide-format solution to Compusign & Graphics' requirements. The printer has four reservoirs and eight ink lines, making the switch from indoor to outdoor inks easy and straightforward. The Encad 736 is being used for a large variety of applications, including posters, banners, advertising material and graphic designs.
Managing director Melvin Hoggarth says, "As one of the leading large format printing bureaux in Zimbabwe, it is essential that we have the best possible equipment with which to service our customers' requirements. I have found the Encad machines easy to use and reliable printers, both of which are essential to any successful printing business."
