Technology specialist HP, recently showcased over 80 new products from its Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) across the consumer, commercial and supplies product categories. Big Bang, an annual HP worldwide event, displayed advance product releases to profile HP's technology roadmap for 2003.

The event, hosted at the Balalaika Hotel, Sandton, Johannesburg, allowed channel partners, press and media the opportunity of interacting with HP's range of upcoming products. Big Bang provided the full HP experience; display of HP's product direction; exhibition of break-through technology and how these complement each other in configuring complete solutions.

In an effort to educate and share international information - Big Bang 2003 featured an address by Giles Davidson (ISE consumer sales and category director) on the strategy and consumer roadmap and Gerhard Kemps (ISE business development manager) addressed the commercial strategy.
