Exhibition promises to bring new technology to the fore

1 February 2004

The Digital Print & Graphics 2004, running alongside SA Sign & Display 2004, will be staged at The Dome at Northgate, Johannesburg, from 12-14 August 2004. Exhibitors from around the globe will showcase the latest technological advances made in the above industries. The combination of disciplines highlights the integral relationship that exists between the digital print, graphics, sign and display industries.
The 2003 event experienced an exhibitor growth of 41% and a visitor increase of 23% in relation to the 2002 figures. In its ninth year running, the 2004 expo will keep with its track record of presenting the latest technological advances by incorporating a new sector that will focus primarily on digital print. Additional emphasis has been placed on African and international participation by exhibitors and visitors alike. To achieve this objective, Africa Exhibition Company has put in place an extensive marketing and public relations campaign aimed at attracting visitors from Africa and internationally.
This exhibition is aimed at visitors from advertising agencies, corporate companies, printers, bureaux, publishers, graphic converters, architects, engineers, sign manufacturers, jewellers and engravers.
A series of workshops and presentations will cover a broad spectrum of topics including work flow, computer to plate technologies, variable information, colour management, solid ink technology, personalised documentation and print-on-demand.
