First Graphics achieved a clean sweep in the large-format sector at the Epson annual awards towards the end of last year.

In the Graphics Inkjet category, First Graphics was the overall winner having achieved the highest revenues in large-format inkjet printer sales.

The company then took the honours in the Specialist Partner Group, also in the large-format printer product division.

Finally, First Graphics achieved the highest growth based on percentage for year-on-year growth.

"We present these awards to our distributors according to the market segment they are active, First Graphics was clearly the top company in the large-format printer sector," says Hans Dummer, general manager, Epson South Africa.

"The Epson range of large-format printers are of such a high quality and produce such consistently good prints, that they almost sell themselves. The success we have achieved with the printers is due, in no small part, to the high rate of acceptance of computer-to-plate in the local market and the need for the high-quality proofs which the Epson printers produce," adds Rory Kelly, product specialist at First Graphics.
