World first out of Africa

1 December 2001

Pretoria-based agency, The Kashan Group, recently launched its international graphic design service, targeted primarily at design studios and advertising and communication agencies worldwide. The service provides agencies and studios with the opportunity to extend their capacity, and their client bases, without increasing their design resources, while improving their lead times and reducing their costs.
"Services like these are an important part of the growing market for 'finger distance' solutions," says Michael Wood, Director of The Kashan Group. "We do, however, know that personal interaction is intrinsic to the business process and to that end we are establishing a network of international offices and dedicated marketers."
The service ranges from the design of adverts through to annual reports and makes it possible for clients to submit a design brief, view the design, submit any changes that might be required and accept and procure - all at the touch of a keyboard - from anywhere in the world. Fulfilment includes worldwide collection of material and delivery of 'finished artwork/bureau ready' designs. Through fixed pricing the service also facilitates improved budgeting and procurement management.
"Our track record reflects our ability to understand communication challenges and to strategise, formulate, design, produce and implement effective communication campaigns or individual promotion elements, which successfully address the particular need," says Wood. "Because service and quality are 'givens' in this industry, our fast turn around time, flexibility, excellent references and ability to consistently and successfully address strategic communication issues in an extremely cost-effective manner, set us apart from other communication service companies."
