Adobe Systems Incorporated has appointed Andrew Lindström, former National Product Marketing Manager at distributor Workgroup, as country manager for Adobe South Africa.

Lindström says that his two years overseeing products, vendors, stock and marketing at Workgroup gave him invaluable insight into Adobe's business and the growth potential that exists for its network publishing solutions in South Africa. "I have joined Adobe because they have the best software solutions for graphics, cross-media and ePaper publishing, a highly capable and dedicated channel, and loyal users. One could not ask for a better base from which to develop Adobe's local presence."

Lindström sees exponential growth coming from corporate market sales in the ePaper space, with Acrobat heading the list. "Businesses of all sizes publish a vast number of documents - whether they are financial reports, brochures or invoices - and they just are not aware of how much easier and cost-effective Acrobat would make that process for them.
