Galilee Engineering Design Services has commenced the New Year with expansion of its capabilities in computer aided engineering design services. Due to demand by the company's existing and new clients Galilee has relocated to 5th Floor, Helvetia House, Wilbart, Germiston. The probability of major contracts from the automotive industry being awarded shortly necessitated its move to larger premises.

Also under consideration is an office in Port Elizabeth to assist with liaison with clients. "We have experience in most of the high and low end CAD packages and are also planning to include CAD/CAM training on or off-site," says the company's Sam McCammond.

"We have the necessary know-how and experience to design products from the original idea through detailed design and production of final toolpaths for CNC manufacturing. Our extensive design capabilities were originally gained within the aircraft industry with its well known precise requirements and very demanding deadlines. Based on these skills and expertise we can now offer all the major aircraft and automobile South African based companies our comprehensive experience," concludes McCammond.
